The Karakurt Spider is found in Russia's Astrakhan Region.  It is among the top 10 most dangerous spiders in the world.  You are most likely to be found is ravine slopes.  During the summer nights they are very active, they kill their prey while the animal is asleep.  If bitten by one of these spiders apply heat with a match to the bite and within 2 minutes all the poison will be destroyed.
