Animals Of Russia Week 4

This weeks Russian Animal of the Week is the Lynx also known as the caracal. The lynx have a white patch of fur known as a "ruff" underneath their neck which somewhat resembles a bow tie. They have very padded paws since most of them are found in the colder climate which make it easier to walk in the snow. The lynx can weigh from 20 lbs to 60 lbs. This animal has exquisite eyesight and hearing which makes them excellent hunters. Next week we will be back with the Viper.
